About Kerra Louise

Kerra Louise is a jeweller based in Cornwall, where she lives with her husband and children. With a BA Hons degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing, she has developed a distinctive style that blends thoughtful design with a love for subtle detail.

Kerra’s design process often begins with drawing, observing patterns and forms she notices in everyday surroundings. The lines in a rock, the movements of waves, and the patterned structures within plants often spark ideas that she develops into jewellery with a sense of geometric elegance.

Her work balances clean, simple silver forms with some pops of colour and texture. She enjoys experimenting with techniques like fold forming, enamel, sand texture, and Keum Boo, allowing her to create pieces rich in texture, visually bold, and full of charm.

Kerra’s colourful designs stand out, but she equally enjoys creating simple silver sets with a classic, wearable feel.

Personal meaning is at the heart of everything Kerra creates. She’s always been drawn to the idea of jewellery as a gift, something chosen with care, to mark a moment or express a feeling. Her designs are often symbolic, made to tell a story or carry significance for the person wearing them.

For Kerra, jewellery is about connection. Whether it’s bold or understated, colourful or simple, each piece is made to be worn, loved, and to hold meaning over time.
